I sent the last issue in June 2023.

So, where the heck have I been since then?

Building a company — Alto Studios — and raising our kids (my wife and I have two girls, 4 and 2, and a boy coming in March!).

I’ve also been writing a lot on LinkedIn, and I’ve noticed something:

Most professionals could improve their careers with better writing skills. Specifically, the skills of simple, clear and concise writing.

I’ve seen countless people transform their careers with these skills.

  • They got promoted

  • They closed more deals

  • They raised more capital

  • They kept teams aligned

  • They recruited better talent

  • They built better networks

  • They became better managers

And on and on.

The problem?

Almost nobody teaches this!

If anything, the opposite of simple writing is taught in school.

So, that’s why I’m here.
